The market is run by a committee consisting of regular stall holders, with Mrs Janet Dann as secretary, Michael Vine as Chairman, and David Turton as Treasurer. Audited accounts are produced every year.
Market policy is that only producers that actually are involved in the production or making of their goods for sale can rent a stall. The committee ensures this happens. So shoppers are buying directly from the producer or someone representing the producer.
